My name is Mark Porter and I am 29 years old. I knew from a very young age that "make believe" had a special meaning to me. At age 6 I was acting in class plays and from then on I "made believe" a career choice! Growing up was a bit difficult my dad passed on when I was 11, so growing up just my mom and I was interesting. I occupied my time nicely with Boy Scouts,Volunteering at the local Museum and watching movies. I studied everything about movies, plays and television and let it guide me through high school where i excelled in Theatre and Mass Media! After high school I became a factory worker trying to help my mom get out of debt. Three years later and no further in my career path I got Laid off...permenently.So I then decided I wasn't getting any older so I then did what any great American actor would do...I moved to Chicago....it was cold. I got signed with Glamour Model Talent (which prompted the move) and it was short lived. Since, I have been working on my craft and writing screenplays in my spare time when im not working..which is always!!
