Aspiring martial arts movie star!

I was born in Washington, DC. I guess you can say that the DC area (Fairfax, VA) is my hometown since I lived here the longest. As a military family kid, I moved around a lot from Maryland, to New Jersey, to Virginia, back to Maryland, then Virginia again were I currently reside. Throughout my childhood I've always had a interest in the Martial Arts. No matter where I moved, I've always did it. Martial Arts is part of my life and I will always do it. Apart from doing martial arts, I also working a 9-5 job as a Project Manager for a translation company, and I'm trying to start my dreams in the acting and modeling industry.

My dream is to do what I love, acting, modeling, and martial arts. I've always had this dream to play in movies, do a little modeling, and one day open up my own martial arts school. Now it's time for me to give it a try! After graduating from college and working a 9-5 job, I believe it's time for me to chase my dreams. My mom has always told me to do what you love in life and be happy. And that's what I'm going to do!

Breaking into Hollywood with Wushu

What is Wushu? Who practices Wushu? You've seen it in Kungfu movies— Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Ray Park—they all do Wushu, whether it's on or off the movie set. "Wushu" in Chinese means literally "martial arts," and it encompasses many styles, including both external and internal styles; Traditional and Contemporary. But why is hard to break into the Hollywood scene with Wushu? I believe it's because Wushu is so unique and only practiced by a small amount people. For instance, we see a lot of movies with Karate, Tae Kwon do, and etc. but not Wushu. Because of this, that is why I want to break into Hollywood with Wushu. By knowing a very unique martial art, it gives me a skill that very few people have. I would love to become the next martial arts superstar and promote Wushu even more, but why is it so hard? It should be easy because it's unique and very few people do it, but on the flip side, it's hardly known. Well, I'm just going to keep pushing. Wish me luck. 加油!

The film equipment used in my video was on loan from the University of Tampa. I work with the adult film students at UT! The professors there have have even let me sit in their college classes! VOTE !
